P.u.f(f) Piece!

Keeping to my plan of Personal Update Fridays (P.U.F.) I am going to post this week’s photo diary round-up. Just random snaps I took on my cruddy camera during the week. 🙂

ouija ouiji board sampler

I embroider as though my eyesight is far worse than it is…

I have been obsessed with hand embroidery again. I’m not very good at it but I kind of like my wonky freehand results! I made this Ouija Board doily/sampler for a friend. It is the perfect blend of my love of vintage doilies and my awkward embroidery. What do you think?

musical obelisk

Raindrops keep falling on my obelisk.

Speaking of gifts from friends! Someone wonderful made me a musical obelisk! When you turn the tiny little handle it plays a portion of “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head”. Which is, of course, the most suitable song for an obelisk..? It is also covered in a lovely brown velvet.

Irina, my friend’s kitty lounging in the spring sunlight.

I did not take any outfit photos this week, it’s been snowing like crazy and it’s so disheartening I haven’t had the energy to get fancy. I will try and make up for it next week- more fancy! Here’s a photo of me with hair soaked from the snow and looking miserable:

At least my usamimi has stayed perky despite the heavy snow.

Here are some photos from a little while ago which fill up this post and make it at least vaguely fashion related. 😛

My lap and legs in a frilly plaid dress!

It seems like my motto for dressing in 2013 has become “MORE TACKY” as I am interested in some of the most unfortunate things. For example my darling super shiny gold tea party shoes! 😛

Have a great weekend everyone! We have a photoshoot and a new dress to launch next week!!! 😀
