We all tend to end up with items in our wardrobe that don’t fit us anymore or simply don’t suit our taste! Handing them to a thrift store feels iffy, lots of alternative styles end up in their Halloween racks and they often throw out clothing they don’t want to try and sell.

We can rehome your unwanted (clean, washed, undamaged) items to people excited about the styles!!! You get paid when your items sell (every week) and the % we add to the value of your items helps us keep offering an in person place to connect with other likeminded alternative people of all genders, sizes, and styles!! Here are some frequently asked questions from customers while they’re in the store I thought might be worth covering here too. 🙂

-Who determines the price of your items? The sellers provide us with the price they’d like to get for their item and we add a % to that. We generally don’t argue the pricing people give us (unless it’s genuinely nuts), so yeah you might find x or y item cheaper online (go buy it there and pay tax/duties when it arrives and forgo trying it on first then). We aren’t trying to rip anyone off.

-Why do you add money to the price someone wants for an item? Because it costs money to run a store. Rent, staff, insurance, stock, etc etc. It all has a constant cost. So no, we can’t just store items and make nothing when they sell. Retail requires us to make money on items we sell in store, you might find x or y online at a lower price but this is how the majority of retail works! We have to add a mark up to items to cover our operating costs.

-Will you sell my small accessories or shoes? Sometimes if we have enough display space we will take on accessories and jewelry. We will sell shoes in almost new condition only, we don’t have a lot of space for footwear generally.

-Do you sell handmade items or altered vintage pieces? Absolutely! We also offer consignment for artists and makers. Contact us on instagram to arrange this or ask about it. Not everything in our store is handmade or from an artist (we wish).
