Doll Funeral just had it’s third anniversary! We can’t thank our community enough for your help making this little store a destination for goth/lolita/jfashion in Toronto!!!

We have BIG NEWS! Doll Funeral is MOVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For three years we have been tucked inside Chinatown Centre mall in downtown Toronto. The mall was very empty when we first arrived. Over 60% of the shops had closed during the pandemic and the infrastructure was riddled with issues. We really weren’t sure if our audience would be able to find us in the mall. We have done our best to bring attention and visibility to this Toronto landmark, and watched as tons of new stores and galleries have opened up around us. It’s wonderful to see the mall creak back to life. But our time to say goodbye to this space has come.

Moving our shop will allow us to offer more spaces for artists and makers, as well as expanding what sorts of clothing and styles we carry. We can’t expand further in the mall as the units are small (and have so many issues- like broken air conditioning…). We’ve gone as far as we could here and we’re so grateful for for this place!

Doll Funeral will be moving in January 2027 (exact opening date to be announced soon) to a huge flagship shop on Dundas Street West! Barely a 2 minute walk from the mall (closer to Kensington Market also). We’ll be ground level, no more “you’re hard to find” type comments, if you can’t find us at street level we aren’t sure how to help you lol….

December will be our final month in our units at the Chinatown Centre mall. The store may look a little haphazard during December as we will be moving as much as we can as soon as possible to make the transition easier. Decorations and non for-sale items will probably be moved in early December, so it may be a little bare bones in here while we shift to the new space.

Doll Funeral will be Closed from December 24th until we reopen in January.

We’ll post updates and opening party news here as we have them confirmed. But if you’d like to shop our original spaces come by before Dec. 24th!
