I began experimenting with clown themes in our photoshoots in about 2016, back then I had no idea “clowncore” would blow up like it has! I love seeing all the creative interpretations of clown themes and I just keep playing with them myself in shoots.
For this gothic themed shoot with model Paige Marina we did a Pierrot sort of vibe with the styling and the makeup she created!
Paige modeled two of our pre-order dress designs (both available now for purchase on the site) with a handmade clown had I created years ago for our Circus collection, a ruffled lace collar, and stacked wrist cuffs. Her crown necklace is from Alchemy of England.
