It’s our favorite month of the year and now that all of our in-time-for-Halloween orders have shipped we can focus on making some new seasonally appropriate art to share with you! Thank you to everyone who made this season *so* busy and so much fun, we can’t wait to see your Halloween pics!
The first shoot we have is this haunting series featuring Gloomth Girl Ashavari and an eight foot bridal veil I found at a thrift store!
I kept Ashavari‘s makeup quite simple for this set, smokey reds and browns in her eyeshadow and small fake lashes to add impact to her eerie grey contact lenses. And added little fake tears running down her cheeks framed in more red. Finished with red lipstick. We have a tutorial on making the fake tears right here too!
We shot in the ravine across from my apartment where the leaves are just transforming into their autumn selves. The light there was beautiful and we had a lot of fun creating these ghost-bride inspired shots.
Ashavari is wearing our “Valance” dress in black, along with a vintage doily neck ruffle, vintage veil, and 1960s leather gloves a friend recently gave me (thanks, MJ!).
See the rest of the series on flickr!
