The last month of summer here always feels like an enormous intake of breath, all the fields are swollen with produce, the heat is stalled waiting to break. September comes as relief, the heat dissipates, the fields empty, and everything grows still towards winter. Here are three of our Gloomth photoshoots that make me think of late summer days. 🙂

“Lovely Spring“, though shot earlier in the year makes me think of walking the warm residential streets in the summer. The smell of wet cement and growing things. This shoot features model- Tam wearing our “Alouette” dress in black.

“Summer Day” features Dolly Monroe wearing Gloomth’s “Library” dress, we’ll have a redesign of this dress and some of the other Academy designs soon! This shoot has a summery afternoon feel, hanging with friends in the park, watching the heat shimmer in the distance.

The stifling heat of summer in the city, the sun reflecting off of cement and grey. Our “City Doll” shoot has a decidedly summer-city feel. Featuring Fine Lines wearing our “Lyre” dress in black!
