Vintage Picnic Photoshoot!

A couple of weeks ago spring was just beginning to manifest, birds were warily warbling the first bars of their spring songs, and only the bravest crocuses and snowdrops had appeared. We decided it was the perfect time for a picnic! 😉

Vintage Picnic

Models Poppy and CheshireCat skipped into the forest with an old quilt and some goodies and celebrated early spring with a princess-style dress up picnic! With handmade lace crowns, frilly party dresses, and slightly-too-long vintage petticoats our lovely models spent a pleasant afternoon in the grey forest.

Photographed by the talented Megan Breuckelmen, the models look like perfect dolls against the soft backdrop of the woods.

You can also see the gold lace crowns we made used in this shoot! There’s a full tutorial (right here) for how to make your own lace crown.

If you’d like to check out the entire series it can be viewed here in our flickr!
