Gloomth’s Tea Party

Gloomth is hosting our next Tea Party on Sunday, June 4th 2017 in a beautiful Victorian furnished museum home.
Absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door the day of (as ticket sales will determine our catering total). Please purchase yours in advance. You will need to present your name upon arrival at the door.
$10 of each ticket will go to Applewood Shaver Foundation charity for the maintenance and upkeep of their beautiful Victorian museum home, preserving historically significant properties in Ontario is a wonderful cause that we believe strongly in here at the ‘Cult.
The other $10 will be used towards our costs for food etc.
Ticket includes entrance to the event as well as an exclusive goody bag with Tea Party specific treats from Gloomth and our sponsors- including a Gloomth.com $10 gift certificate, stickers, and other surprises.
You will also be entered into our raffle at the event for a beautiful prize package full of Carnival themed items from our sponsors and Gloomth!
We will have carnival style games, performances, and surprises during the event!
All food and drink is covered in your ticket cost for the afternoon as well. We will have teas and coffee served as well as a variety of snacks and treats (both vegan and gluten free options also).
A professional photographer will be circulating and we will also be shooting formal photos of attendees in t. All photos will be posted to our flickr album for you to download after the event. The museum makes a stunning backdrop for photos in general so please feel free to bring your camera!
We will have a historical guide present to answer any questions about the history of the home and the furniture/pieces within! They would be delighted to share their love of this important site with you so don’t hesitate to ask.
*Dress Code: This is a formal Tea Party! Please arrive in your best Carnival or Circus inspired attire! Think vintage circus, gothic carnival, clowns, anything really! We will have prizes for the best circus/carnival themed outfit and best performer/clown outfit awarded by the Gloomth Girls.
(The dress code is not enforced. You are welcome to arrive in any attire that makes you feel comfortable and most yourself, even if that’s jeans and a t-shirt. We encourage creative and inspired outfits for this simply because it creates a more magical environment for everyone there and is a lot of fun. This is not a lolita specific, or gothic specific event- please wear any style/era/etc you like!)
There is lots of free parking at the venue and it can be easily reached via public transit as well. For full directions and details please see the event page on our website!
*There will not be alcohol served at this event but it is not small child appropriate since it takes place in a delicate museum space, sorry. We recommend this event for ages 16+. No pets allowed (service animals with appropriate certification excluded).
