At events people often express that they don’t think they could pull off a Gloomth Girl look but would really like to, or would love to participate in one of our unique photoshoots but don’t know where to begin- so we want to bring that experience to more people, in a fun and inclusive and encouraging environment! When there isn’t a global pandemic we offer regular Photoshoot Parties where you can come participate in a Gloomth style shoot (with professional hair and makeup) and get a dress to keep!

Applewood Shaver Museum Home- A fully furnished, Victorian museum/home full of beautiful backdrops and flattering natural light!
There are only 6 total spots available for this event!
Attend our Photoshoot Party and you’ll get a Gloomth dress (to keep!) with your choice of design and size! Get your hair and makeup professionally done by our team on site to match your look. We will help style your whole ensemble complete with loaned accessories (please bring your own shoes) and tons of detail. Model in your Gloomth outfit in a beautiful private indoor set in a gorgeous space, complete with fun props!
Photographer: Taeden Hall. Tae is Gloomth’s designer and has worked on hundreds of photoshoots both as a photographer and stylist/makeup artist. She will work with you to get the best poses and most flattering photos from the day!
Makeup Artist: Cindy M. Yu. Cindy is an incredibly talented makeup artist with years of experience and will work with you to create your dream aesthetic for this shoot!
Hair Stylist: Krystal. Krystal is a fantastic hair stylist who has years of experience and professional training, she will help complete your style!
We’ll be serving light snacks and tea throughout the party! It’s a great chance to try our super detailed style and get great photos from the day in a positive and fun atmosphere! Style is not size, gender, or race dependent- this event is welcome to anyone who wants to play dress up with us ! 🙂 (We recommend this event for ages 14+, any participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian no exceptions. No alcohol will be served on site.)

*You are welcome to arrange a time to come pick up your dress from us ahead of the event or we will bring it to the party for you.
(We are not currently offering custom sizing or alterations on our designs, if you have questions about which size to select please email us, we’re happy to help!)
-Fully styled photoshoot set with props and flattering lighting in a private Victorian museum home environment. We have two beautiful rooms to work with for a variety of shots!
-Each guest gets about 30 minutes of dedicated shoot time! If you and your friend are both attending this event we are happy to do photos of you both together as well as separately during your time.
-15+ edited photos from the day (we will email you a link to download your photos about a week after the event). These photos will be the same standard as the ones we use on our site (without a watermark). We’re also happy to take some casual fun photos with your phone during the shoot (no, we won’t take any with your proper camera that’d defeat the purpose of the event…). Our photographer will help you figure out your best poses and get you confident and happy in front of the camera!
-Professional hair/makeup and wardrobe styling by published and talented stylists! False eyelashes included (which you can keep). Wardrobe styling will be handled personally by Gloomth designer Taeden Hall. We will also have a pro hair stylist and makeup artist on deck!
-Complete styling with a lending library of accessories, petticoat, leg-wear, etc! Please bring your own footwear (we will have a few samples on hand but we can’t guarantee to fit all shoe sizes). You are welcome to bring your own accessories and legwear if you have a specific look in mind, or want to showcase your favorites!
-Snacks/Tea!
-Gloomth goody bag with a gift certificate towards a future purchase with us and exclusive party favors and more!
Cost $280 CAD (each of these dresses cost about $200 CAD each so you’re really only paying for a makeover and photoshoot and have a great day with the Gloomth team!)
**Our website cart doesn’t accommodate pricing in Canadian Dollars (boo) so if you’d like to book your space please send us a bank email transfer to taeden@gloomth.com to book (and email us the password for it), we also accept cash in person, or paypal sent ONLY as a “to friends/family” or gift (paypal fees aren’t included in the pricing).**

(Rules/Regulations: You will be required to sign a model release for the photos, we won’t be using them on the website catalogue but they may be used to advertise future photoshoot workshop events. All cancellations must be done within 7 days of purchasing your ticket to this workshop, if you have collected your dress already you will only be refunded for the event fee. No pets allowed in the studio (service animals with proper certification excepted). Please do not bring additional guests (aside from guardians for underage guests), the studio is small and it’s unfair to other participants who may not feel comfortable modeling with an audience. Please respect the antique furnishings in the museum home. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if your behavior is disrupting the other guests experience or if you are an asshole to our team, no refund will be given if this happens.)
