At events people often express that they don’t think they could pull off a Gloomth Girl look but would really love to, or would love to participate in one of our unique photoshoots but don’t know where to begin- so we want to bring that experience to more people, in a fun and inclusive and encouraging environment! 😀

*this will be the last one where we include custom sizing on the items included in the package for a little while!*

There are 5 total spots available for this event!

Attend our Photoshoot Party and you’ll get a Gloomth dress (to keep!) made to your size and color choice, you will also have professional hair/makeup done and styling to the same precise and awesome detail as seen in all of our photoshoots. A whole look complete with accessories (please bring your own shoes) and tons of detail. Model in your Gloomth outfit in a Gloomth style indoor set in a gorgeous space, complete with fun props!

Our awesome photographer (Russel Hall, who works on nearly all of our shoots) and modelling coach (Taeden) will help you get the best shots (even if you’ve never modeled, or even considered doing so)! We promise a fun and friendly environment!!!

We’ll be serving snacks and tea throughout the party! It’s a great chance to try our super detailed style and get great photos from the day in a positive and fun atmosphere! Style is not size, gender, or race dependent- this event is welcome to anyone who wants to play dress up with us ! 🙂 (We recommend this event for ages 18+, since we require anyone under 18 to have a parent or guardian present at our shoots we cannot accommodate underage participants this time. This studio space can only hold 8 participants or we have to pay an additional fee so no extra guests, escorts, or guardians will be permitted this time. Sorry!)

Ticket Includes

-Choice of 1 of 4 dress designs in any size/color, you get to keep the dress!!! Choose between our Valance dress, Mina dress, Nautical dress, Chrysanthemum dress, or Victoria dress. Tailoring/custom sizing is included with the package. We will mail the dress to you before the event or you can collect it the day of.  *If you’d prefer a design not listed here please email us, it may alter the price of the event ticket but generally it’s no problem!

-Fully styled photoshoot set with backdrop, props, and flattering lighting in a professional photo studio.

-10+ edited photos from the day (we will email you a link to download your photos about a week after the event). These photos will be the same standard as the ones we use on our site. We’re also happy to take some casual fun photos with your phone during the shoot (no, we won’t take any with your proper camera that’d defeat the purpose of the event…). We will also have a modeling coach present to help you figure out your best poses and get you confident and happy in front of the camera!

-Professional hair/makeup and wardrobe styling by published and talented stylists! False eyelashes included (which you can keep). Wardrobe styling will be handled personally by Gloomth designer Taeden Hall. We will also have a pro hair stylist!

-Complete styling with a lending library of accessories, petticoat, leg-wear, etc! Please bring your own footwear (we will have a few samples on hand but we can’t guarantee to fit all shoe sizes).


-Gloomth goody bag with a gift certificate towards a future purchase with us and exclusive party favors and illustrated posing guide.

Cost $250 CAD (each of these dresses cost about $150USD each so you’re really only paying <$100 for a makeover and photoshoot and have a great day with the Gloomth team!)

**Our website cart doesn’t accommodate pricing in Canadian Dollars (boo) so if you’d like to book your space please send us a bank email transfer to to book (and email us the password for it), we also accept cash in person, or paypal sent ONLY as a “to friends/family” or gift (paypal fees aren’t included in the pricing).**

(Rules/Regulations: You will be required to sign a model release for the photos, we won’t be using them on the website catalogue but they may be used to advertise future photoshoot workshop events. All cancellations must be done within 7 days of purchasing your ticket to this workshop, after which we will have begun making your dress and will only be able to refund you the $75 fee for the event. No pets allowed in the studio (service animals with proper certification excepted). Please do not bring additional guests, the studio is small and it’s unfair to other participants- we signed a contract with the studio saying we’d only have 8 people max, otherwise we’d be fined, boo.)
