This spring Maddie and I shot some lovely gothic Victorian inspired photos together! Our “Church” dress paired with a bishop sleeved sheer blouse, metal clasped hands belt, and high boots really captured the vibe of a fantasy Victorian era. No way would anyone’s skirt have been this short at the time 😛
Our “Church” dress is made of soft cotton poplin with 100% cotton lace! It’s got shirring at the back, pockets, and waist ties. Available in regular and plus sizes on our site or in the shop!
We used a 1980s vintage hat from my collection with a costume veil draped over the top to create the lovely veiled hat effect for the shoot! This is an easy way to customize your own hat for a different outfit quickly. Adding removable details to your existing pieces is a great way to get the most out of your wardrobe.
