I’ve been slowly easing away from being in the shop daily and starting to refocus on making things by hand again! I love meeting everyone in the store but I am not always the most social person on the planet (ha ha ha……). Retail can be very draining if you’re neuro-atypical.

When I first began Gloomth I made everything myself. Either from scratch or altered vintage. I’d spend my days camped out with my sewing machine and my kitten (RIP Atticus). Then photograph and post the items weekly. My work then was very punk inspired, tattered edges, hand printed graphics, chains and bows.

This week I made 11 pieces of one-of-a-kind merch for Doll Funeral! It was really wonderful revisiting that part of my time as a designer and I hope to do more of that as our staff run the shop spaces for us. 🙂

For this drop I have a mix of sweaters, accessories, and head-wear! Super fun! Hand screen printed with vintage elements and hand moulded crosses too!
