We are making the most of the long daylight and (occasionally) decent weather to shoot as much as possible here at the ‘Cult!
Today we’re featuring our new “Ghost Bride” photoshoot with Gloomth Girl Emily Elizabeth Estrange! This series was an absolute joy to create with her and I hope you’ll like it.
The inspiration was a ghostly bride haunting an autumnal forest, sort of a maiden Miss Havisham feel- with toys and coffins and endless white tulle. Stalled childhood, peculiar rituals, the scent of lavender, and dusty attics…
Emily is wearing our “Doilies and Dolls” print dress (available in sizes XS-5XL) paired with her own layered white tights and socks, and antique Victorian style cream boots. I layered a vintage white peignoir and a vintage wedding veil to add the bridal feel. Finished with an antique leather glove pinned like a necklace round her neck and lengths of pearls.
Emily’s rosy cheeks and pale skin made this eerie shoot truly come together! I built a small set in the ravine across from me with a little coffin, silk flowers, and a bunch of vintage dolls of all sorts.
There are so many more great shots from this day I hope you’ll take a look at them on flickr!
Thank you to Emily for modeling for me once again!!!
