It’s the first day of spring in our hemisphere! Doesn’t quite feel spring-like here yet, no tulips or anything, but hopefully soon. 🙂 We’re excited to get back to shooting outdoors and enjoying the nicer weather! I am definitely itching to take my photography to the next level and practice more asap.

In the meantime here’s an early-spring themed shoot featuring Gloomth Girl Sandra Von Ruin wearing our “Alouette” dress. Paired with a traditional lolita headdress, gothic style ankle boots, and black tights it made a perfect casual gothic ensemble that’d be fairly easy to recreate at home. 🙂

Early spring is one of my favorite parts of the year, everything turns grey and brown, ghostly and pale. Fog rises from the lake as the air temperature fluctuates and you can hear the voices of familiar birds long before you spot your first robin. It’s also the most beautiful contrast against black clothing, rich earthy tones framing our black designs just looks quite perfect to me.
