New “Gothic Cemetery” Photoshoot!

It’s been so much fun learning to take photos for the Gloomth shoots myself! Usually I handle basically everything apart from modeling and the photography at our shoots, this year one of my goals was to learn to take photos for the site myself. This way we’ll have loads more mini-shoots to share and fresh photos whenever I have time! 🙂 It’s been a steep learning curve but super inspiring.

My latest series features the amazing Sandra Von Ruin who also did her own makeup/styling for this shoot.

I wanted to create something classically Gothic, reminiscent of the scanned analogue photos of goths in cemeteries from the early internet. 90s-early 2000’s gothic fashion will always have a part of my soul, it’s an aesthetic period that really inspired me and is still inspiring my design work.

Sandra Von Ruin is wearing our new “Hymn” dress as well. 🙂

I can’t wait to shoot some more little series for the website this fall! You can check out more of this series in our flickr! I hope you like this series. 🙂
