Three Summery Photoseries

We’ve done so many shoots over the years with so many talented people! Presently we average a minimum of 2 per month which keeps me busy and inspired. We use them to show you the world in which our designs exist, to tells stories and to show you the Gloomth universe in all of it’s peculiar and shadowy reality. Today I just wanted to nod at 3 of our past shoots that remind me of summer.

We’ll also post links so you can check out the entirety of each shoot, as we only feature a few from each on our site. 🙂

Sugar Sparkle

1. “Sugar Sparkle” This tooth-ache inducing sweet shoot was shot by Jen Li and featured models Nikki White and Linda Tea! The incredible towering hair was by Savija Ellis who always manages to bring my insane ideas to life. The shoot itself really captures the glow of late summer sun through trees, it’s soft and lovely.

Alternative Dreams

2. “Alternative Dreams” This shoot was shot by Valter Mendes and the lovely Vorm Van Aimee modeled for us! We shot outdoors on a very hot and humid summer day, the resulting images have this heat shimmer feel to them I think. Evoking the smells of water evaporating on pavement and sun warmed grass.

White Ribbon

3. “White Ribbon” Shot by Russel Hall it features models Daria Vanessa and Hannah Bloodbunny and obviously a lot of white ribbons. This shoot always makes me think of the woods in summer, the scent of earth and leaves.
