Our “Union Jack” dress is one of my favorite pieces from the catalogue! The possibilities for coordinating it are endless. I like to wear it with boots and a cardigan (with a ton of vintage buttons on it) for a casual day look. For this quick photoshoot I coordinated it in a slightly more fancy way!
I layered it over a long sleeved lace top. It’s actually a lingerie thing from Victoria’s Secret, of all places, but it makes a great layering top as it’s not bulky. I used black lace wrist cuffs to give the sleeves some detail! The hat is a vintage 1960’s one with little seed pearls sewn on (I call it the “Blue Brain” for obvious reasons). I also layered the dress over a long vintage petticoat to add length in some shots. Finished with spikey boots by TUK. π
With strands of false pearls and gold toned metal strung across the chest for detail. This dress looks equally cute without the underskirt. It has a flattering fit-and-flare silhouette and doesn’t need a petticoat and looks great on a variety of figures. π
