While strolling my neighbourhood recently I came across a little cemetery fenced in among some houses. Unfortunately the gates were locked but it didn’t stop me from taking some photos of the vine encrusted walls and iron gates.
The stone walls must be beautiful when the leaves are in full bloom! I do like the tangled bare vines though.
Inside a few tombstones were visible, they did not look very old but it was difficult to see many beyond the interior stone wall-thing.
The layers of vines were peppered with withered grapes. And a final shot of the arched gates against the grey November sky.
Oh and one of my head for good measure. 😛 No, that’s not real fur, geez, it has googly eyes.
Have you found any hidden places lately?

What an absolute treasure to come across!
Agreed! I definitely want to go back and see about getting access to the inside.
That’s awsome, is it just that little plot?
I was sadly unable to dally there terribly long, but I want to go back and walk the perimeter. It didn’t seem very large or attached to a church (that I could see), which is interesting.
