NEW Shalott Victorian Nightdress

Half Sick of Shadows

But in her web she still delights
To weave the mirror’s magic sights,
For often through the silent nights
A funeral, with plumes and lights
And music, went to Camelot;
Or when the Moon was overhead,
Came two young lovers lately wed.
“I am half sick of shadows,” said
The Lady of Shalott

This romantic photo series was inspired by Tennyson’s wistful poem of the cursed maiden, with an urban twist. As shot by Russel Hall (coincidentally my older brother) and modeled by the always charming CheshireCat!

Half Sick of Shadows

CheshireCat is wearing our brand new “Shalott” Victorian nightdress (and one of the vintage housecoats I collect and wear around because secretly I am a bag-lady). Not wholly intended as an actual nightdress our “Shalott” dress can be easily dressed up for a night haunting the moors or worn casually for a cute daytime style.

You can check out the entire photo series in our flickr! Click here 🙂

What do you think?
