Happy Autumn from Gloomth!

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eaves run;
To bend with apples the moss’d cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o’er-brimm’d their clammy cells
(Keats, “To Autumn”)

It’s officially autumn! How did you spend your equinox? We can now look forward to lingering longer nights, that seem to consume the early morning with their velvet. At least in this part of the world.

Autumn is my favorite season for clothing, cool enough for a blazer but you don’t need a bulky coat. Tights, otk socks, velvet, jackets, sweaters, and and and!

Our “Pepper” shrug and “Ghost” skirt were created last autumn as our fall look. I think grey is the perfect contrast against the vibrant leaves and lush colors of this bountiful season.

Cromaggia is wearing our Ghost skirt and Pepper shrug with a simple black tank top and grey tights and black knee socks over them! Super easy and perfect for the cool days of October!

What are your favorite accessories this season? Are you layering socks? Wearing a favorite jacket? Slinging scarves around your throat?

    I’m definitely wrapping up in scarves. I have soooo many of them for all different styles!

    I’m also looking forward to layering long sleeved tops, wearing more skirts with tights, and of course…boots!
