Vampires. Vampires. Vampires. Seems like everywhere you turn lately there’s some fanged apparition gracing a magazine/movie/book/etc. I grew up fascinated by Stoker’s Dracula and all the accompanying fiction. My first forays into (what would later be called) Gothic style were trying to emulate the cinema vampires I adored. I’m pretty sure that makes me a huge nerd, heh.

When I think Vampire fashion I think lush velvets the color of night and blood red jewels, sharp silver, crucifixes and rosaries. Loads of lace and tattered edges, demure splatters of blood and ink. Long coats and ruffled necklines framing bitten throats. That sort of thing.
