I’ve been trying to challenge myself with our photoshoots this year. One thing I’ve wanted to practice are night photoshoots! There are so many evocative interesting backdrops we can explore around the city at night, and the resulting photos have a whole other vibe.

Azura Rose and I set off down a weird back road to do some fun night shots earlier this year. It was super chilly the night we did these photos but I think they’re super fun!

In some the city glitters behind and in others we kept the weird tangle of trees as a backdrop. With my little photo light we spotlit the environment to a really interesting effect. Azura is wearing our “Church” jsk.

I’ll be doing more night photoshoots soon! We’re just hoping the heatwave breaks so that I don’t perish from overheating mid-shoot….lol
