Gothic Victorian Style

I have met so many amazing people since opening our IRL store Doll Funeral! It also means sometimes you pick up your camera and make a new friend put on a dress and go do some fun photos after you close. 🙂

I also got to do her makeup for the shoot! I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to do makeup for our Gloomth shoots lately. Maybe in the new year I’ll get back to that.

Mia wore our “October” dress with a black Victorian inspired bonnet in these super casual photos. Gothic Victorian has always been my core inspiration for Gloomth designs and our style. My fascination with Victorian mourning culture has permeated every aspect of the label, including the name which came from the book “The Victorian Celebration of Death”.
