Another “Carmilla” Inspired Shoot

We’ve done a whole clothing collection and photoshoot inspired by Sheridan La Fanu’s “Carmilla” in the past. It’s a vampire story pre-dating Dracula, and like much of older vampire fiction seems more about exploring the idea of “this queer wants me so bad” type fears than about actual monsters haha…

Soapdiety and Purrblind helped me explore the “Carmilla” theme again for this fun shoot this fall! Soapdiety is nearing our red velvet “Dracula’s Bride” dress and Purrblind is wearing our “Church” jsk.

This fall I tried to do as many Halloween themed shoots as I could possibly fit it! Has it resulted in me being so tired for most of November I didn’t do many shoots? Yes….lol. But we sure had some fun creating Halloween tropes through our own eyes.
