I don’t get to post much of my non-Gloomth photography here but every now and again a project is just too exciting for me not to share here. In April I had the honor of shooting with the band Vision Video again as well as their tour partners Then Comes Silence!!!

Both bands are absolutely amazing and worth seeing live if you are anywhere near their upcoming tour locations.
Then Comes Silence is a Swedish post-punk band with an incredible gothic sound that made me very nostalgic for shows when I’d first moved to Toronto.

From their site: “Then Comes Silence hail from Stockholm, Sweden and were founded by Alex Svenson, the only original member from the band’s beginnings in 2012. The inspiration came from touring frequently with A Place To Bury Strangers and an attraction to horror and the occult. A couple of years later the German post-punk community started to embrace the band and Then Comes Silence found a new home away from home. “

I shot their performance at the Velvet Underground in Toronto and we got to do some formal photos on the roof of the venue, which were super fun. I’m not generally a live event photographer but I think my concert work is steadily improving, and any excuse to be part of a show makes me super happy!
The rest of the photos of their session can be seen here!
