The term “Hedgewitch” refers to a sect of witchcraft which is closely related to herbalism and shamanism, with a deep connection to nature. They were originally healers and midwives, advising their communities using natural methods. The concept of “hedge” represents the boundary between this world and the afterlife and other planes of existence.

Our recent “Hedgewitch” photoshoot was inspired by this tradition! Of kindly healing women of the woods.

The lovely Karen (of the band Amy’s Arms) modeled for me again wearing our “Orion” and “Robe du Crane” dresses. She made the perfect ethereal and dark Hedgewitch!
