The Chrysanthemum flower consists of tiny petals that radiate out from the centre of the flower. There are many shapes the flowers can take on- from enormous and reminiscent of a petticoat to demure and sleek. They can be found in colors ranging from pale pinks to white and rich reds.

In parts of Europe this delicate blossom (with inward turned petals) symbolizes death and they are only used as decoration on grave sites or in funerals. The white chrysanthemum represents mourning and grief in Asia. In America they are considered a cheerful flower, but we prefer the darker interpretations personally.
