The Dolls

Our “Valance” dress is loaded with adorable details- ruffles, bows, corset lacing. A great start to many outfits.

1. Club Look (Ero-lolita inspired): Going to a club event or concert, or just when you need to feel a little sexier. Ero-lolita is our inspiration for this look, the blend of the delicate with the carnal. Wear the Valance dress without a blouse. Pair it with a visible garter belt or strappy sock garters, otk stockings in black or fishnet. Large heeled black fetish boots or teetering goth heels. Accessorize with lace or fishnet arm warmers, and a hair bow or hat. Finish with a little lace trimmed collar or velvet ribbon tied round the throat.

2. Girly Casual Look: Going shopping with friends or brunch, a casual style suitable for simple daytime events. The Valance dress looks great worn over a stretchy cutsew blouse with puff sleeves, or just throw a cropped cardigan over it. Opaque tights with stripes or a sweet print, with ankle socks and flat tea-party shoes or maryjanes. Finish with a hair bow or decorated headband. Feminine and classic!

3. Classical Dolly Look: A little more formal, a perfect style for a cocktail party or a dolly event. Wear a little white or cream blouse under the Valance dress, such as our “Sugar Cookie” blouse. A beaded necklaces or a pretty brooch fastened at the base of the collar for a prim touch. OTK stockings in cream and black tea-party shoes with a heel. A cluster of faux pearls at the wrist or antique bracelet. Finish with a veiled vintage hat!

4. Gothic Look: A darker style. Pair the Valance dress with our “Spellbound” shrug, the corset lacing at the front of the dress and the back of the shrug will create a perfect ensemble. A cluster of spiked bangles and bracelets at your wrists for detail, maybe a spiked collar or ankh necklace. Fishnets or layered torn tights. Big stompy goth boots or platform doll shoes and finish with spiked headband.

5. Artistic Look: This look is creative and beautiful. Our Valance dress worn over our “Monarch” blouse with it’s show-stopping sleeves. Add high-fashion platform heels with lots of detail (think spikes or a bright color). Faux vinyl tights for a touch of shine. A large silver bangle at one wrist. Keep your hair sculptural and sleak.

Voila! Five outfits for five different purposes starting with just one dress. πŸ™‚
