A forgotten garden on a Victorian estate, overgrown and thick with life it beckons you through it’s creaking gate. Poisonous flowers breathe their scent into the air while strange mushrooms crowd the earth below. Frayed ribbon sways in the branches above, the plants seem to be closing in….
Absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door the day of (as ticket sales will determine our catering total). Please purchase yours in advance. You will need to present your name upon arrival at the door.
Tickets are $20CAD each ($16.50USD through our site since it doesn’t accommodate CAD. If you’d rather pay by email bank transfer or paypal please email us- firstname.lastname@example.org)
$10 of each ticket will go to Applewood Shaver Foundation charity for the maintenance and upkeep of their beautiful Victorian museum home, preserving historically significant properties in Ontario is a wonderful cause that we believe strongly in here at the ‘Cult.
The other $10 will be used towards our costs for food etc.
Ticket includes entrance to the event as well as an exclusive goody bag with Tea Party specific treats from Gloomth and our sponsors- including a Gloomth.com $10 gift certificate, stickers, and other surprises.
You will also be entered into our raffle at the event for a beautiful prize package full of strange and wonderful items from Gloomth, Teta Kika, and our other event sponsors!
❤ Artist Linda Tea will be there drawing live portraits of the event guests!
❤ Taxidermy artist Ankixa Risk of Teta Kika will be displaying some of her gorgeous work and contributing to the raffle prize for the day!
All food and drink is covered in your ticket cost for the afternoon as well. We will have a variety of teas served as well as light snacks and treats (both vegan and gluten free options also).
A professional photographer will be circulating and we will also be shooting formal photos of attendees. All photos will be posted to our flickr album for you to download after the event. The museum makes a stunning backdrop for photos in general so please feel free to bring your camera!
*Dress Code: This is a formal Tea Party! Please arrive in your best Gothic Garden inspired attire! Think poisonous plants, eerie mushrooms, tendrils and vines, Victorian herbalist, or any dark summer vibe you can conjure. We will have prizes for the best outfits as chosen by the Gloomth Girls in attendance!
❤ This is not a lolita or gothic specific event, please wear any style that makes you feel inspired and happy. ❤
(You are welcome to arrive in any attire that makes you feel comfortable and most yourself, even if that’s jeans and a t-shirt. We encourage creative and inspired outfits for this simply because it creates a more magical environment for everyone there and is a lot of fun. This is not a lolita specific, or gothic specific event- please wear any style/era/etc you like!)

*There will not be alcohol served at this event but it is not small child appropriate since it takes place in a delicate museum space, sorry. We recommend this event for ages 16+. No pets allowed (service animals with appropriate certification excluded).
