There’s a chill in the air today, the whisper of winter’s approach. Mid-fall I created these lovely photos with model Nicole Ruin against a backdrop of quickly changing leaves. Most of those same trees are bare as of this week, their leaves piled below.
Nicole is wearing our “Ghost Queen” dress, it’s made of stretch cotton poplin with black velvet accents! With it’s long sleeves and high collar it’s perfect for late fall weather.
I also paired this dress with an actual antique mourning cap in black velvet and an antique mourning brooch! Both are barely noticeable in the photos but add some true Victorian magic to the outfit I think.
More of these photos can be seen on flickr!
